Greatness challenge 2016

WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS?

Hey!
We – Andrii Mishchenko (a copywriter with a beard) and Dima Alimov (a designer without a moustache) – work together in a creative agency Arriba! Recently we have won the contest The Greatness Challenge 2016 from ADC*UA.
This victory has given us a chance to go to Barcelona and to work together as a part of a jury at ADC*E festival, which is a kind of a Champions League in the world of advertising. During our stay in Barcelona we both will be wearing a huge jacket that we have sewn out of two separate jackets. In this way we will experience all the difficulties of a creative team work and we will find out who is more important in a creative team: a copywriter or a designer.

So what's next?

In all creative agencies all around the world people work as parts of creative pairs: designer + copywriter. Each of them faces difficulties, because the partner thinks, feels and perceives the world differently. While the copywriter puts phenomena and meanings into words, the designer visualizes, uses bright images to deliver the same ideas. Which of these two is more important for creating Big ideas and business solutions? Who is the weakest link?
To answer these questions we’ve built this poll-website, where copywriters and designers from all over the world can vote either for a copywriter or a designer from Kharkiv. With your vote we also ask you to contribute to our poll. If we collect enough money, we will go to Barcelona to ask all top creative and art directors of Europe the same pressing question. We are going to shoot videos of all our adventures. We are going to make a video of every opinion and post it on our social network accounts. Besides, you will be able to watch our “Getting-along Diary”, where we are going to share our feelings and thoughts about being in each other’s shoes, or, in our case, each other’s jackets, with a person, who is different in every sense.

We’re happy that you are taking part in this craziness

If you don’t like to shell out online, share this page with those, who do.
